The house we make most often. Western red cedar, a 1⅛-inch entrance, and a floor sized for wrens — not sparrows. The roof overhangs the hole so rain stays out, and a side panel lifts for end-of-season cleaning. Hang it in a shrub or on a post 5–10 feet up, with a little cover nearby.
